Total Quality Management (TQM) is the organization-wide management of quality. Management consists of planning, organizing, directing, control, and assurance. TQM is a management approach for an organization, centre on quality, based on the participation of all its members and aiming at long-term success through customer satisfaction, and benefits to all members of the organization and to society. Important aspects of TQM include customer-driven quality, top management leadership and commitment, continuous improvement, fast response, actions based on facts, employee participation, and a TQM culture.

Part 1:

Demonstrate how SINGTEL LTD, a telcon organization in Singapore, is evolving towards the TQM system. The description must be comprehensive to ensure the total processes are examined.

Part 2:

Identify and assess the challenges that the select company has encountered in theimplementation of TQM system. Specifically focus on the major challenges that has impacted the organisational culture and leadership of the company. Must usespecific examples of the identified challenges to support the arguments.

Part 3:

Critical discuss in what ways has the selected company overcome the challengesto create a new culture and leadership structure within the company. Examine how with the integration of the TQM system has improved their competitive advantageand contributed to the long-term sustainability of the company.

Part 4:

The balance mark will be allocated to the structure of the material which wouldinclude the referencing and the in-text citation.
