In this reflective paper, you will examine the role of values in ethical theories. You will analyze how different values influence ethical theories. You will also describe how dissimilar values can lead to similar moral conclusions. You will use an ethical issue dilemma and apply at least 3 different ethical theories identifying the different values underlying each theory and identify the different conclusions that would be drawn from the standpoint of each theory. Additionally, you will reflect on your own values and how they influence your opinion on this ethical case.

Pick an ethical dilemma.
Pick three different ethical theories.
Identify fundamental values that you think underlie each of these theories. You can use the list of values from the assessment milestone last week in addition to information from your textbook to help you formulate what you think are the basic values of each theory.
Based on each theorys values and ideals, identify how that specific theory would explain the decision on what is ethically right or wrong with an outcome to the dilemma.
Think about the following: What does the role of values play in defining ethical theories and guiding ethical decisions? How can different values still lead to similar decisions on an ethical dilemma? Based on your personal values, what is your standpoint on this issue? How does it compare to the ethical theories?
Your paper should include the following and use APA citations:

Introduction brief summary of the dilemma, overview of your paper and the purpose of the paper/assignment
Body (multiple paragraphs)
Summaries of three different ethical theories and what each theorys underlying values are that guide their ethical reasoning.
Provide a description of the stance each theory would take on your chosen ethical case.
Provide a description of how different values still might provide the same ethical decision on an issue or case (e.g., the theory might be quite different and have different reasoning, but the decision is the same as another theory).
You include your values (from last weeks milestone) and describe how they motivate your stance on this issue and how it relates to the other values of the ethical theories.
Conclusion Conclude your paper with thoughtful insight on your findings and reflections on this process.
